It’s a japanese style of painting since the meiji period. I really like Ogura Yuki who practiced this type of style. She became 105 yeas old (older than Louise Bourgeoise).

Well, as you might know, I’m in Japan right now to study their way of designing with textiles at an Design and Art University. It’s perfect! They have so many traditional techniques and the culturel context very vital.
Coming from a school where you do one thing at a time it is very different to have 2 projects and 3 courses paralell. But I like trying new ways of working.
